Frequently Asked Questions

How will my project be managed?

A creative director will be in charge of all projects. Their main job is to give updates on the progress of each project, this includes providing guidance and leadership throughout out the creation stage.

Do you shoot special events, i.e weddings or  graduations?

Although Maramac Studios does not shoot wedding videos, we have the resources to point you in the right direction. Graduations are under events and are provided on a case by case basis.

Do I own the rights to my videos once received?

You own the rights to every video or photo you purchase. Although, depending on the agreement, Maramac Studios is allowed to use your video for promotional content. Each agreement is different, unless stated otherwise we have the rights to use your videos as apart of advertisement.

What is the action plan once we commit to a project?

"Pre-production". - One of our favorite steps in bringing visions to life is being able talk to you through creating your own vision. Pre-production involves you and a creative director(s) meeting via zoom or in person, to understand what exactly you're looking to achieve through photo/video. This also can involve script writing, storyboarding, location scouting, and budget, but before all of that we want to know your story.

What steps are involved in video creating?

Steps include:

Pre-production: Consultation, script, storyboarding, crew, location, budget, fun!

Production: Audio, visuals, lunch, filming, and more fun.

Post-production: Editing, graphics, titles, distribution.

Your creative director will go more into depth of each step once the action plan is accepted

Do you have quality equipment?

Yes. Depending on what type of photo/video you are look to create, depends on the type of equipment that will be used. Become a member to see our equipment list.

Where will the photo/video
shoots take place?

If your business has an in-house studio we are more than happy to travel to you. If you need to rely on our studio for production we have a mobile studio traveling the St.Louis area and some parts of Illinois. Deciding a location for all photo or video projects, take place during pre-production.

How timely are your deliveries?

For all projects you will let us know the date you would like the video or photos by. We will have a written agreement for that delivery date before the project begins. If you do not have a specific date, it will be marked as standard and all videos and photos will be delivered between 7-14 business days from the initial shoot. We offer two rounds of revisions, after that it will be an additional consultation cost added to your agreement.

What happens if I don't like the final product?

There is no final product until you are satisfied. That's the reason for pre-production.

Before we pull out that Sony boy, we will create a storyboard (a visual comic book) of what your video will most likely entail. The same goes for photo projects. Once we agree, then and only then will we set a time for production and post production.

Do you distribute the footage?

To hire a content manager email: maramacstudios@gmail.com Subject: Hire Content Manager and we will give you a call. Just like if you were to get business cards made for your brand, it is your responsibility to distribute those business cards, in this case - videos -where you see best fit. We will provide you with the best insight on places your videos/photos could live (i.e YouTube, homepage on website, Instagram etc). I hope that wasn't too confusing. In short yes if you need to hire a content manager. The answer is no if you already have a team to post for you.
